Mission and Passion:  My desire as a teacher is to be Love and to show God’s love. I believe God helped me become a teacher to complete his work here on earth. From my very first year teaching, God has shown me this truth allowing me to demonstrate his love to a little boy that forever changed my life and his. He used my years in public school to allow me to love others unconditionally. As I grew in spiritual maturity and with the birth of my own children, I started to notice the need for Christ in all aspects of my life and my children’s lives. Proverbs 22:6 always sticks in my mind, “Train a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”  My mission as a mom and a teacher is to be the love of God that even when the child grows old, s/he will always have those seeds that were planted in their heart to fall back on.

My second passion in teaching is to show students that they CAN learn math, and that math can even be fun if they just give it a chance. I want kids to learn the math skills necessary for their future and to have confidence in their math potential.

Inspiring verse:  John 8:54 Jesus replied, “If I glorify myself, my glory means nothing. My Father is the one who glorifies me.”
