Tyro Community Christian Preschool
Tyro Community Christian Preschool provides children with a Christian atmosphere that will help them grow mentally, socially, physically and spiritually. All staff members will provide the children with love and concern. We will prepare them not only for school, but also for the rest of their lives.
School Term
TCCS preschool will be open from August to May from 8:00 to 11:30 AM. Our 4-year-olds meet on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, while our 3-year-olds meet on Tuesday and Thursday. Playschool runs from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Monday through Friday, and Extended Day is available from 11:30 AM to 5:00 PM, also M-F. We follow the TCCS yearly calendar.
Admission
TCCS Preschool welcomes potty-trained children ages 3 to 5 years old, as long as they turn the appropriate age by September 1. To reserve a spot, you must complete an application and enrollment form, along with a $50.00 registration fee. This fee covers all classroom supplies, a T-shirt, and field trips.
Daily Schedule
Each day is filled with exciting activities! Your child will enjoy a lesson, a craft, a snack, and a Bible story, along with learning centers and free play (outdoors when the weather permits), all while focusing on letters and numbers.
Preschool Tuition
Tuition is due on the 5th or the 20th of every month through your FACTS management account automatic bill payment. You will need to set up that account.
M/W/F - $115 per month-4’s
Tu/Th - $95 per month-3’s
Lunch and Nap
Lunch is available for purchase monthly for $3 per day. Alternatively, you may provide a sack lunch for your child. Each child will have a rest period of approximately one hour. Snacks will be provided in the afternoon.
Busing/Transportation
At a nominal cost, transportation is available for students in Coffeyville, Dearing, & Independence. This is only available to students who are at the school 8:00-3:30.

Play-School
For a fee, Playschool is available on all school days for children enrolled in a current preschool class with a Playschool Program Contract. This program runs from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Children can attend Playschool on the mornings when they have preschool. At 8:30 AM, preschoolers will go to their classroom. The morning will be relaxed, featuring simple activities, free play, and a snack. Payment is made through FACTS Management. Monthly costs are $220 for the 5-day option, $138.50, $180.40 for the 4-day option, $138.60 for the 3-day option, and $94.60 for the 2-day option.
Extended Day Program
For a fee, Extended Day is offered on all school days for children enrolled in a current preschool class and with an Extended Day Program Contract. This program runs from 11:30 AM to 5:00 PM and includes fun activities, play, rest time, and a snack. Payment is made through FACTS Management. Monthly costs are $100.80 for the 3-day option and $68.80 for the 2-day option.

Our goal is to provide a Christ-centered atmosphere in all areas of classroom work and extracurricular activities.
Safety
Your child’s safety is our top priority at TCCS. While in our care your child will be under constant supervision by qualified and attentive teachers and staff. All exterior doors are locked during school hours and only approved people will be allowed access to the building. At dismissal, your child will only be released to individuals that you have pre-approved with us. All teachers/staff are properly trained in CPR and First Aid in the event that an emergency arises.
State Standards
We will accept any child that can benefit from our program.
We are a part of Tyro Community Christian School; they are accredited through ACSI. We follow the state standards that apply to private schools.
Tyro Community Christian School Goals

To meet the student’s social needs by helping them develop self-control and respect for the rights and property of others. Decision making and following directions as individuals and as a group develop the student socially.
To meet the student’s intellectual needs by helping them develop an enthusiasm for learning, a proper use of language and the ability to handle basic classroom materials.
